Effective and last updated: 10 August 2026 This policy explains how Akrama Studio handles information in Home Stock Notes (package com.akramastudio.homestocknotes). The app is designed as a private, offline household inventory utility. Information handled by the app The app processes information you choose to enter: item names and brands; quantities, units, minimum and target stock; categories and storage locations; purchase, opened, and expiration dates; optional prices and notes; favorites and archive status; shopping-list entries; stock-adjustment history; and preferences such as theme, default unit, warning period, and layout. How information is used This information is used only on your device to provide inventory management, low-stock and expiration indicators, shopping lists, history, statistics, backup/import, and your selected app preferences. Local storage and collection App data is stored in the app’s private database and preferences on your device. No account is required. The app does not request internet access and Akrama Studio does not receive or remotely collect this data. Ads, analytics, and third parties The app contains no advertising SDKs, analytics, tracking tools, social sign-in, or cloud synchronization. Akrama Studio does not sell, rent, or share your app data with third parties. Device permissions The app does not request sensitive runtime permissions such as location, camera, microphone, contacts, or phone access. Import and export use Android’s system file picker, which grants access only to a file or destination you explicitly select. Import and export JSON backups may include all inventory, categories, locations, shopping entries, notes, and history. CSV and text exports contain the fields shown in their respective export screens. If you choose a cloud or third-party document provider in Android’s file picker, that provider may process the exported file under its own privacy policy. Exported files remain outside the app and must be protected or deleted by you. During import, the app reads only the file you select. Retention and deletion Local data remains until you delete individual records, choose Delete All Data in Settings, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Automatic Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled. Delete All Data preserves only the onboarding-complete flag so the welcome screens do not reappear. Files you previously exported are not removed when app data is deleted. Security Android’s application sandbox protects local app storage from ordinary access by other apps. No storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure, so keep your device locked and store exported files only in locations you trust. Children’s privacy Home Stock Notes is a general household utility and is not directed to children. Because the app has no account, network collection, advertising, or analytics, Akrama Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. Policy changes If the app’s data practices change, this in-app policy will be updated and the effective date above will be revised.
